Forums Online Soon

We're setting up TouchFS forums this week. In fact, you'll notice the new Forums link is available already.

Within the next few days, we'll be setting up permissions and fine tuning settings so everybody can post where they should be able to post, and view posts where they should be viewable.

It's our hope that the forums will provide a place for us to help you, and for you to help yourselves. We also plan on it being a place where you can vent your frustrations and sing the praises of TouchFS--although, not necessarily in that order all the time.

As you can see if you visit the current Forums page, there's a place to stay on top of the latest developments of TouchFS and a place where you can make feature requests. Of course, there's support forums as well.

Please be patient with us as we bring the site up to full functionality. If you've purchased TouchFS already, thank you...if you're thinking about it, keep an eye on our site for a bit to help you make your decision.

How do I get the TouchFS 1.1 update?

I purchased the TouchFS 1.0.0 a few weeks ago (7/24/08) for $14.99. How do I get the 1.1.0 update? Please don't tell me I have to spend another $14.99 !

Updates Are Completely Free

Of course you don't have to pay for the updates. Updates are completely free for a long, long time.

You can update from iTunes or directly on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Launch the App Store on your iPhone and tap the Updates tab. You'll see a list of the applications that have updates available, can read their release notes, and choose to update them right there.

iTunes should provide something similar to this...then you can sync your iPhone w/iTunes to get the update.

Even if you only see a Buy button on the iTunes or App Store, as long as you're logged in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase TouchFS originally, you'll be told that you've already purchased the product, and asked if you want to continue downloading it for free.

No matter how you get the update, make sure you BACK UP YOUR FILES and be patient. The update may take a while if you have a lot of files stored in TouchFS.
